AHL’s TOP STORY: More Than Two-Thirds of U.S. Residents Want Supreme Court To Overturn All, Parts of Health Reform Law
More than two-thirds of respondents to a CBS News/New York Times poll released yesterday said they want the Supreme Court to strike down all or parts of the federal health reform law, the New York Times‘ “The Caucus” reports (Liptak/Kopicki, “The Caucus,” New York Times, 6/7).
The high court is expected to deliver its ruling on the constitutionality of the overhaul and the individual mandate later this month (Jackson, “The Oval,” USA Today, 6/7).
According to the poll, 41% of respondents want the entire law overturned and 27% want the individual mandate struck down, The Hill‘s “Healthwatch” reports (Viebeck, “Healthwatch,” The Hill, 6/7).
